HOW TO REGISTER
Please note that this is the official ISER/BFF website for registrations and that no other websites, companies or agencies are authorised to sell the registrations/ hotel booking in any way or to contact you directly.
Registration is mandatory for all attendees. We encourage attendees to register early to secure their spot, as registration is first-come, first-served and previous editions have reached capacity.
This is an all-inclusive meeting. Your registration fee includes entrance to all symposium sessions*, housing and meals.
A local registration category is available for residents of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
(*) BrightFocus Glaucoma Fast Track registration is sold separately unless you are a travel awardee.
Travel awardees are required to register and attend the Fast Track and the symposium.

BrightFocus Glaucoma Fast Track

Geared for student, post-docs and junior faculty (within 10 years of terminal degree) or those newly working in glaucoma research, but open to everyone.
- The BrightFocus Fast Track registration fee includes Fast Track sessions, housing and dinner for the night of October 7, and breakfast, lunch and breaks on October 8.
- The BrightFocus Fast Track Local Package registration fee, available for residents of the Atlanta metropolitan area, includes Fast Track sessions, breakfast, lunch and breaks on October 8 and dinner on October 7.

INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATIONS:
Participants may proceed with the online reservation system.
Off-line registrations and requests of pro-forma/ invoices sent by fax or mail are subject to an additional $30.00 for administration expenses.

VISA Information
Participants should contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in their home country promptly to confirm their travel visa requirements. It is each participant’s responsibility to secure the necessary visa for attending the congress. The OIC Group is unable to assist with visa applications and cannot engage with Embassies or Consulates on behalf of participants.
Letter of Invitation for Visa Application
A visa invitation letter may be requested during the registration process. Only participants who are fully registered for the Symposium can receive a personal invitation letter. If a hardcopy of the invitation letter is needed, any related express courier fees must be prepaid.
Please note that the invitation letter is solely intended to support participants in securing a visa or permission to attend the Meeting. It does not imply any obligation from the organizers to cover expenses or provide financial support. All costs related to conference attendance remain the participant’s sole responsibility.
Terms of Payment
Payments can be done only by Credit card.
The following credit cards are accepted: American Express, VISA, MasterCard.
Invoices
Invoices with an address in the European Union should be provided with a VAT Number. The invoicing address and VAT number can only be set up during the registration process. Should you have any special requests for the processing of your invoice, kindly let us know when submitting your application.
Cancellation and Refunds
Registration is non-refundable. We strongly advise participants to take a personal “Cancel For Any Reason” insurance with an insurance company of their choice.
Any change or cancellation in connection with registration fees and social events must be made in writing to O.I.C. srl, e-mail registrationISERBff@oic.it.
- For cancellations received by April 30th, 2025 the paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 30% that will be invoiced as penalty.
- For cancellations received by July 31st, 2025 the paid amount will be refunded with a deduction of 70% that will be invoiced as penalty.
- No refund will be processed for cancellations received after July 31st, 2025.
Should a delegate not attend the congress, for whatever reasons, no further claims for reimbursement can be made. All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance.
- Name changes incur a handling fee of $ 50.00 per registration.
RESPIRATORY VIRUS GUIDELINES
Attending the meeting is at your own risk. It is recommended that all attendees be up to date in their COVID-19 vaccinations, and other vaccinations typically required in the US and your country of origin, like influenza. Wearing masks is not mandatory, but highly recommended, especially if you are experiencing any type of illness. Please be respectful of the potential health risks to others. Hand sanitizers will be available throughout the meeting space.
Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms or a positive test should not attend any meeting functions. Call the hotel front desk for further instructions. If an attendee needs to self-quarantine, this can be done in the attendee’s room. Security will work with individuals on all their needs and food orders. If you need to cancel your trip due to any reason, including illness, refunds will not be made.
Liability disclaimer
In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, OIC shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of the event. You shall not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damages incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.
OIC will not be liable for any theft or damage to property and/or persons caused on site during the Congress, by any factor whatever, unless there has been a fault, intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of OIC.
